Armed Forces Day - Swanley

Yesterday, on Saturday 27th June 2026, we were proud to attend Armed Forces Day in Swanley, and what a fantastic event it was. It was great to meet so many members of the community, have conversations, and connect with people of all ages throughout the day.

We were there with our engagement stall, offering information leaflets and a range of items for anyone who wanted to take something away. It was a brilliant opportunity to talk about local policing and answer any questions people had.

One of the biggest highlights was the electric police car currently on loan to Swanley, which attracted a lot of attention. It sparked some really interesting discussions with residents around its role in policing, battery life, and the future of electric vehicles within the police service.

Thank you to everyone who came over to speak with us — we really enjoyed being part of such a well-supported community event that we hope to be part of again next year and hope to see you there.
